Ninth Station - Jesus falls for the third time
(Leaving behind anything blocking the relationship with love of God)

Scripture Reading
Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us!” (Rom 8:35,37).

Reflection
Jesus I see you fall again. Simon is shouting to executioners “Do not harm this person”. But will they listen?
Jesus Speaks
My Son / Daughter, now they see me as an object. They just want me to get to the Calvary which is not far away from here and crucify me. Then their mission will be completed. They are satisfied; all of them, from executioners to the Roman emperor. They don’t think beyond that. All they want is satisfy their desires.
Evan today’s world I see the very same thing. People see others as objects. When you see others as objects you are blinded for their suffering. Compassion and Mercy is out from the window. Such sins include lust, where you see others as objects of your sexual pleasure. Another is greed for money and power when you see others as objects or obstacles to your human success. When you see others as objects you will use them fully and when you see them as obstacles you will remove them at any cost. That is happening to me now? They want me to be physically removed from the society so that they can live happily. But they didn’t realize that they cannot destroy my spirit.
Personnel Reflection
Jesus by every station you are taking me to a deeper journey by revealing my inside to me. Let me ask these questions from myself? Do I keep healthy custody of my senses? How about eyes? When I see something which doesn’t please the eyes of God, do I let that sight entertain my eyes or do I give the second look to God with a prayer? How about my thoughts? If I am tempted with impure thoughts do I give that thought to God without fail or do I swim in those thoughts? How about my tongue? When I speak, am I speaking the word of mercy and compassion or words of anger and hatred? When anger comes, do I at least try to offer that to Jesus or do I try to justify it? By doing these negative things either I let myself fall down or let others fall.
Jesus, please grant me the grace to understand the ways that I fall and I let others fall.
