Knowing only part of the facts is dangerous than not knowing at all. You can come to wrong conclusions with incomplete knowledge. That could be the reason why Paul started from the beginning when they were asked to share a word of exhortation with the people of Antioch.
Knowing only a little of God, knowing only a little of the Church teachings confuses us when we face a problem. Most of us have the knowledge of God only with what we studied in catechism classes in our young age. Therefore, it is advisable to read the Holy Scripture, books and letters written on religious matters and listen to the teachings of the knowledgeable people about the present revelations using the modern technology, in order to not get confused and also to be eligible to talk of our faith with others. Then can we only becomes qualified to be sent by Jesus.
