Are We Ready?
Are We Ready?
Acts 14:21-27; Psalm 145:8-13; Revelation 21:1-5; John 13:31-35

Jesus loved Judas knowing very well that he is going to betray him in to the hands of the enemy. Jesus loved Peter knowing he is going to deny him three times that night in spite of the warning. Jesus loved his disciples knowing that they are going to sleep when he wants their company more than any other time. Jesus loved them knowing that they are going to abandon him when he gets arrested. Jesus loved all of them to the point of washing their feet having known all these. Jesus loved his prosecutors even while hanging on the cross which they arranged for him, to the point of asking for pardon for them from the Father. Jesus loves us who very easily forget his love after he has sacrificed his life for our redemption. Now Jesus is asking us to love one another AS HE LOVE US in order for others to know that we are his followers and others to follow him too.
Are we ready?
