Once when I went to pick up my daughter from school, one unfamiliar teacher asked me “Are you looking for Da… ?” When I said “yes”, she said, “I guessed, you look like her.” That teacher has seen my daughter in me. We know of many siblings, parents and children, and sometimes relatives who are look alike and when we see one of them, they reminds us of others.
It was not exactly the same that Jesus meant when he said “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father”. There are much more similarities between them. They think alike, they wish alike, they love alike. Their intentions and desires are same. They are one and they have one Spirit making all three one. We cannot talk of one without talking of the other two. We cannot talk to one of them without talking to the other two. Therefore, one who has seen Jesus could easily say “I have seen the Father” or “I have seen the Holy Spirit.”
That is the same that Jesus expects from us too - to have one mind and one heart in everything we say and do, with Them and with each other, like They do, so that whoever sees us, any of us, may say “I have seen Jesus”. If anyone sees Jesus in us they will surely see the Father and the Holy Spirit as well.
Let us pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to keep the image of God in us clear and undistorted, so that the whole world may see Them.
